Tim's Hot Salsa is made with the Best Tomatoes in the USA from Fruitful Vines in Sullivan, Illinois -- a fellow vendor at the Urbana's Market at the Square. He combines the freshest tomatoes with the freshest jalapeno, habanero, thai, and bell peppers, onions, and hot spices to make the perfect Hot Salsa. People ask, "How hot is your salsa?" and I say, "He likes it, and I believe him." I have a much milder palette than my husband. I can tolerate and even enjoy Medium Salsas, but that's where I draw the line. Tim takes our Medium and adds hot peppers until it reaches his "3-chip" level = where he has to stop and take a break. Me on the other hand? When I've tried his Hot Salsa, even a tiny bite, I have to have cottage cheese nearby, Sprite, sometimes a good merlot, but it takes awhile for my tastebuds to return to a tolerable level.
